Quality Gold originally began when the founder, David Langhammer, supported his family selling gold chains from the trunk of his car. Many hours were spent driving his 'Distribution Center' throughout the Midwest to serve his customers. David was very proud of his personalized service to every single one of his customers. However, this old-fashioned practice quickly became unsustainable because as his customer base increased, he soon outgrew his 'Distribution Center' and couldn't find a car with a bigger trunk. A business model change was definitely in order.
David went on to develop a comprehensive product catalog, which covered much more ground than his car. With this growth in customer base also came a growth in inventory and the establishment of Quality Gold Manufacturing. In the 90's, Quality Gold moved into the national level of distribution with a state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution process of their ever-expanding product line, which now includes the contemporary fashion and wedding band line of Chisel® found here at Osborne Jewelers.
